TECHNICAL & QUALITY

Product information and traceability built around the supply.

AQJ connects product requirements, supporting records and customer expectations from source and packing through UK allocation and delivery.

UK ACCOUNTABILITY

Commercial and technical responsibility in one place.

AQJ Trading Limited is the UK importer-distributor and customer-facing supplier for Golden Roots fresh ginger.

We provide one commercial and technical point of contact for customer onboarding, product information and supply records.

That structure gives professional customers one route for commercial questions, technical review and supply-chain documentation.

CONTROLLED INFORMATION

Evidence connected to the supply.

Quality management begins with clear requirements: information is reviewed as current, relevant and connected to the product and supply being discussed.

Source review

Applicable source and packing-site evidence is reviewed for relevance to the supply being discussed.

Specification and label

Product specifications, label requirements and customer codes are agreed during onboarding.

Shipment records

Batch and shipment records are connected to the corresponding supply documents.

Account review

Customer-specific requirements are reviewed as part of the account relationship.

SUPPLY-CHAIN STANDARDS

What each standard supports.

The standards and platforms shown below support different parts of responsible fresh-produce supply. AQJ works with them across its supply chain; their presentation does not mean that AQJ Trading Limited is the certificate holder.

GLOBALG.A.P.

Farm assurance

GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance is a farm-level standard for responsible agricultural production. For fruit and vegetables, it covers food safety, traceability, environmental management, production processes and workers’ health, safety and welfare.

Sedex

Responsible sourcing platform

Sedex is a supply-chain sustainability platform, not a certification. It helps businesses share and assess social, environmental and ethical information, identify supply-chain risks and support responsible sourcing.

GRASP

Social-practice add-on

GRASP—the GLOBALG.A.P. Risk Assessment on Social Practice—is a farm-level add-on focused on workers. It covers health, safety and welfare, workers’ voice, labour and human rights, and the protection of children and young workers.

BRCGS

Food-safety standard

The BRCGS Global Standard Food Safety provides a framework for managing food safety, product integrity, legality, quality and operational controls in food manufacturing, processing and packing.

BATCH TRACEABILITY

From source lot to customer delivery.

Product identity and supporting records are connected across the supply route, creating a practical trail for customer review.

  1. 01Source

The originating supply lot and its supporting records.

  2. 02Packing

Packing details and the corresponding batch identity.

  3. 03Export

Shipment records linked to the dispatched supply.

  4. 04UK intake

Receipt checks and the incoming batch record.

  5. 05Allocation

The supply allocated against the customer requirement.

  6. 06Delivery

The delivery record completing the customer-facing trail.

QUALITY RESPONSE

A clear route for quality concerns.

Intake review

Quantity, carton condition, lot code and visible product condition can be reviewed at intake.

Containment

Related supply and records can be identified while a quality concern is assessed.

Investigation

Relevant source, warehouse and transport information can be brought into the review.

Closure

Findings, actions and the final disposition can be recorded against the concern.

MAJOR CUSTOMER ONBOARDING

Designed around customer-specific requirements.

Larger wholesale, foodservice and distribution customers can bring their own specifications, labels, pallet rules, booking process, testing expectations and order workflow into onboarding.

Requirements

Customer specifications, labels, pallet rules, booking processes and order workflows are identified.

Technical review

Applicable product and supply information is reviewed against the customer requirement.

Sample or trial

A sample or trial stage can form part of onboarding when it is agreed by both parties.

Account setup

Technical, commercial and credit approval are completed through the appropriate customer process.

Applicable source and supply-chain evidence can be discussed during controlled customer onboarding. AQJ does not present third-party supply-chain credentials as credentials held by AQJ Trading Limited.
